Hello, I am using this forum to discuss the most common problems I have with ED drugs such as Viagra. I have been told by some men that they may not be able to get erections in the first place. The problem seems to be that the penis does not fill up with blood. I am experiencing frequent chest pain, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. My doctor has prescribed this drug to me, and I have been prescribed by my physician to take it once a day. The problem is, it takes 2-3 weeks of taking it before you will be able to get the erection. I am wondering why it took for me to be able to get the erection and to get the feeling of a hard, erect penis that is not filled up with blood and is not stiff enough for satisfactory sexual activity. I am experiencing my erections as soon as I take this drug, but the chest pain is still present. My doctor has advised me to use Viagra or Sildenafil, not generic Viagra, but as a result, the blood vessels in my penis are not filling up with blood. I am thinking that because of the longer time it takes to take Viagra to get the blood vessels in my penis to be filled up with blood, the effect of Viagra on the blood vessels in my penis will not be as strong and will not be able to provide enough blood flow to fill them up with blood. I also have a little bit of pain on the left side of my chest that is getting worse and is still not getting any erection.
Thanks for your input!Posted byon June 15, 2005, 11:18 am
I have had the erectile issues with Viagra since 2012, and have not had any side effects since then. My doctor has recommended that I have sex once a day to get the desired erection but I still have chest pain. I am still experiencing a headache, dizziness and nausea. I have noticed that my penis does not fill up with blood and is stiff enough for sexual activity.I have read that a lot of men have sexual problems with some drugs and it is important that they do not abuse this drug.
It would be great if this could be discussed in this forum, but I am hoping that I can make this discussion relevant in my community.

Thanks for all this info. I will definitely try to get the same issue resolved on my own. I think it is time for another discussion here and maybe discuss the same with my doctor. It would be great if I can just get my question answered on my own and can discuss my options for ED.on June 15, 2005, 12:46 am
I do not think this would help a lot to get the blood vessels in my penis to be filled up with blood. My doctor said that I had a bit of pain on the left side of my chest that is getting worse and is not getting any erection. The chest pain does not bother me. I am not a very sexually active person and am not even able to get an erection if I have sex more than once a week. I have had no problem with my ED, and I have been able to get the erection in less than 4 hours, but I am still experiencing a headache, dizziness and nausea. I am currently taking a low dose of Viagra, which I have tried for about 2 weeks and have not had any side effects. I have been told that I need to take it for 2 weeks, and I do not feel that I can get the erection on my own. My doctor has suggested taking it for 2 weeks, and I do not know how long this could take, but I am not sure if I will be able to get it on my own. I will definitely try to get my questions answered. Thankson June 15, 2005, 1:35 pm
